After the time, effort and cost of powdercoating a chassis it can be quite infuriating to have the protective powdercoating surface scratched off by an errant stone or tool thus allowing the elements to attack the chassis bars. The most common place for this to occur is on the bars in front of the seats that seem to attract the feet of every passenger.
To protect these vulnerable chassis bars we have carbon-fibre scuff protectors. These feather-weight protectors are a three-sided carbon-fibre sleeve that can be slipped over the bars in question protecting them against errant feet and scratches. These scuff protectors are suitable for any 1/2" box section chassis bar.
