20041102 dave brighton 01.678 viewsDave Edmands doing the fastest ever quarter-mile for a Caterham at the Brighton Speed Trials. His BDR700 crossing the line at 129mph in 10.95s. Listen for the flat-shift 'bang' - this occurs each gearchange (9,250rpm). Time is 4.5s to 4th gear (105mph if traction was actually held!). Bear in mind also that Brighton is generally 0.4s slower than most drag strips due to the dusty, oily surface.
Just shows what a geniune 270bhp/180ft/430kg can do!

20040530 frenchvillage 01.2043 viewsGraeme Finlayson and Jamal Brathwaite on the 2004 Rally Barbados. The first run through French Village and the second camera decides it's had enough. Poor quality video, but sadly, these are the only two we managed to get from the event due to camera troubles >:(
*WARNING* Bad language on this video *WARNING* - sadly, many camera (audio and visual) problems left the producer in a bit of a bad mood when making these clips /understatement

20040530 canefield 01.2146 viewsGraeme Finlayson and Jamal Brathwaite on the 2004 Rally Barbados. The first run of the day through a waterlogged and mud-ridden Canefield stage. Very slow and careful run (the following run was nearly 30s faster!) but with comedy moments when the make-shift roof (heavy rain throughout the buildup) decides to depart at 130mph.
*WARNING* Bad language on this video *WARNING* - sadly, many camera (audio and visual) problems left the producer in a bit of a bad mood when making these clips /understatement

A weak rod deciding to let go during a flat shift resulting in 24,000rpm and a dead engine...
